Caren Gadigian

Co-Founder and President

Bio

Ms. Gadigian has broad knowledge of finance and business which she developed during her 20 years working with private investment firms providing equity management, syndicate and operational expertise. During her 10 plus year career at NeuroCog, Ms. Gadigian has spearheaded the organization’s growth and strategic global expansion of services. Ms. Gadigian is responsible for jointly managing the human resources, financial operations, facility & operational functions, and recruiting processes that bolster NeuroCog Trials’ ability to maintain the high standard of excellence across new therapeutic areas in pharmaceutical development. Assuring an atmosphere that recruits, retains and supports quality staff and consultants.
 

Richard Keefe, PhD

Co-Founder and CEO

Bio

In an effort to bring cutting-edge innovation and rigorous standards to industry trials collecting neurocognitive data, Dr. Keefe founded NeuroCog Trials in 2005. His devotion to scientific integrity is extended throughout the company’s leadership and staff which is thoroughly exemplified in the services provided to clients. He is responsible for initiating, developing, and maintaining supportive relationships with key industry leaders and scientific advisors. He is Professor of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neurosciences at Duke University Medical Center. His work for the past 25 years has focused on applying innovative strategies in neuroscience to measure human cognition. He has published over 220 peer-reviewed scientific papers on cognition, schizophrenia, dementia, and other CNS disorders. Dr. Keefe has had a leadership role for cognitive methods and coordinating center data review for several large NIMH studies including the CATIE, MATRICS, TURNS, and TENETS projects. He is Associate Editor for Psychological Medicine, and on the Editorial Board of Schizophrenia Bulletin, Schizophrenia Research, and Innovations in Clinical Neuroscience. Dr. Keefe is a Fellow of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology, and on the Scientific Board of the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. He was President of the International Society for CNS Clinical Trials and Methodology in 2012 through 2014. He graduated from Princeton University in 1980, and received his PhD in clinical psychology from NYU in 1990. He completed his clinical psychology internship at Yale University School of Medicine in 1990.

 

 

Susan Lloyd

Managing Director 

Bio

Ms. Lloyd is responsible for managing the development and growth of this global division and leading the operational, business development and quality control functions.  Ms. Lloyd brings over 25 years of management experience in business development, strategic planning, program administration and financial and operations management in the consulting field. Ms. Lloyd has overseen projects for local, state and federal governments, educational institutions, national associations and private industry. Ms. Lloyd has been at NeuroCog Trials for the last three years. She has worked with the company President to oversee operational functions including the International Language Department. Prior to joining NeuroCog Trials, she was a Vice President of Business for a national consulting firm dedicated to furthering higher education. Ms. Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi.
 

Mladen Cvijanovic

Global Strategy & BD

Bio

Mr. Cvijanovic is responsible for developing strategic relationships worldwide and creating global business plans for all industry sectors. Mr. Cvijanovic has an extensive background in sales, diversity and inclusion expertise as well as both academic and clinical training relative to psychological assessments.  He has been involved with international clinical studies for the last two years at NeuroCog Trials. Mr. Cvijanovic obtained his B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Hampden-Sydney College, in addition to an M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Longwood University. Mr. Cvijanovic is currently working on his second M.S. in Social Psychology and is also a Ph.D. Candidate in Social Psychology at Walden University.  He is fluent in Serbian, Spanish and English.
 

Mirko Stankovic

Operations & Project Management

Bio

Mr. Stankovic is responsible for building a world-class global staff. He recruits and hires the industry’s top talent and manages the project production phase. Prior to moving to NCT Linguistics Mr. Stankovic worked at NeuroCog Trials as a Linguistic Data Monitor and Certification Specialist. He was a primary contact for the company’s operations in Serbia ensuring the highest data quality by performing numerous rater certifications and translating documents for accurate communications. Mr. Stankovic received his Bachelors of Science in Sports and Health Sciences at College of Sports and Health, University Of Belgrade. He is fluent in Serbian, English and Russian.
        

Gene Moundous

Quality Control

Bio

In this role, Mr. Moundous implements and manages the division’s quality control program designed to ensure consistency with internationally established standards and client specifications. Prior to joining NCT Linguistics, he was involved in managing the linguistic needs for NeuroCog Trials’ Eastern European studies. He brings extensive linguistic experience having worked as a certified translator for the US government as well as providing translation support for multiple clinical studies at NeuroCog Trials.  Mr. Moundous received his B.S. in Microbiology from North Carolina State University. He is fluent in Russian and English.
 

Frank DeGraaf

Marketing & Communications

Bio

Mr. DeGraaf is Marketing & Communications Manager. He is responsible for the marketing and external communications strategy to support NCT Linguistics’ global business development. Mr. DeGraaf is a former airline captain, and has served as Director of Operations for a private jet charter company. He has also consulted for chambers of commerce, world trade centers, airports, and for the logistics industry. He was a freelance translator and interpreter for the medical and banking industry and for the federal government. Mr. DeGraaf has been with NeuroCog Trials for two years. He has been involved with clinical trials studies, certification, and website development. He is a certified linguist and fluent in English and Dutch. Mr. DeGraaf is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Air Force Officers School and served as an officer in the Royal Netherlands Air Force. He received his marketing certification from the Netherlands Institute of Marketing (NIMA) in Leiden, Financial certification from NVA Financial Institute in Amersfoort, and his Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) from the National Aviation College in Amsterdam. He holds type-ratings on multiple aircraft.
